Kwadron Optima PMU - Flats & Slopes
Kwadron Optima PMU Flats and Slopes are very versatile tools in permanent cosmetics, making them popular with advanced artists who like to perform a variety of techniques.
Flats are a multi-purpose needle that excel when implementing techniques like shading, 3D, chiaroscuro, blending and gradation. With the ability to work at a 90° angle, they deliver both a large amount of pigment and allow precise shading. Great for creating lines, contours, and for thickening line work.
Slopes are most commonly used for the hair method or hybrid method, but also work well for alignment and shading. Slopes are made up of slanted needles that are grouped at an angle that can be used to create fine lines or shading. Inclined needles can create tighter shading due to the different lengths of the needles, allowing artists to create spots of different intensities. A must-have for artists looking for a 3D effect in their work.
Both of these configurations use Point Tapered sharpening (2.5 mm sharpening length) designed to create contours, and lines and fills. The Point Tapered Sharpening is double sharpened, which means that in addition to the usual sharpening, the tip of the needle itself has been sharpened at a different, more obtuse angle. This type of sharpening is less sharp than a standard Long Taper, allowing it to be inserted more gently into the skin.
All Optima PMU cartridges are made from hypoallergenic surgical-grade steel, reducing skin trauma while delivering accurate and even results. They also feature a full membrane to prevent backflow and safeguard your PMU machine while maintaining consistent pigment flow.
